Captain Zipline – Zip Line in Salida, Colorado

Captain Zipline Aerial Adventure Park is located in the Lost Canyon, East of the high mountain town of Salida, Colorado. This location provides the thrill of zipping high above the canyons below in an area rich in wildlife and mining history. Captain Zipline is an award winning facility that features a large aerial course and zip line tours on 7 zip line courses.

The Canyon Aerial Course features 9 courses that included catwalks, swinging bridges, cargo nets, tight wires, rope and cable swings. Each of the courses are color coded for level of difficulty allowing you to choose a course that fits your skill level. Tours are self-guided and last up to 2.5 hours.

The Canyon Zipline Tour features 7 zip lines. There are 6 high cable zip lines that span from 200′ to 700′ over the canyon 200′ feet below. In addition to the high cable zip lines there is a 80′ Bunny zip line that is only 5′ above ground. This zip line is used for orientation and allows first-time riders an opportunity to get a feel for the sport before hitting the high cables. Between zip line platforms shorts hikes over rock terrain are required. These hikes are not difficult and provide an opportunity to take in the beauty of the Rocky Mountains and offer a chance to learn about the areas rich history.
