Red Mountain Park – Zip Line in Birmingham, Alabama

The Red Mountain Park Adventure Area offers multiple zip line and aerial obstacle course options.

The Red Ore Zip Tour is a 1.5 hour zip line tour. On this tour zip riders fly from tree house to tree house on 7 zip lines, cross a rope bridge and Tarzan swing. Participants must be at least age 6 years old and have a minimum height of 4’2″. The zip line has a weight limit of 250 lbs.

The Mega Zip Tour at the Kaul Adventure Tower includes 2 zips on the 1,300-foot long zip line. The zip is 80 feet high and riders reach speeds of 30 mph. Zip riders can fly solo or race each other on this dual zip line. Tour requires approximately 1 hour to complete.

The Red Mountain Park Adventure Area also includes an aerial obstacle courses and climbing tower. The Hugh Kaul Beanstalk Forest adventure course features 20 unique rope and cable obstacles. The Kaul Adventure Tower is an 80 foot tall climbing tower. The traditional rock climbing tower has 8 rappelling lanes, and includes hand-holds and vine climbs.
